MEETING OF THE SEEDS

Roundbale Dialogue and Potluck, Collective Seed Book Broadcast and Seed Exchange

HawkMoth Farm and Agroecology Center hosted this Meeting of the Seeds in Anton Chico, NM. This gathering of local farmers and gardeners included a Roundbale Dialogue, where we shared the Collective Seed Book. a culmination of photographs and quotes from all present. We also listened to each others’ stories about the 2011 year of growing local food, saving seeds, and coping with the regional water crisis and drought. We then sat down to a potluck dinner that included dishes made from everyone’s gardens and farms. At the end of the evening seeds were exchanged.
