Mobile Seed Story Broadcasting Station

The Mobile Seed Story Broadcasting Station is an old bread truck retrofitted into a solar-powered, grassroots roving, SEED STORY shout-out vehicle committed to honoring the relationships between people, seeds and agri-Culture through listening and sharing Seed Stories.

From 2012 - 2017 the MSSBS traveled on yearly cross-country tours throughout New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, California, Kansas, Illinois, Ohio, New York, and Vermont. During these events we worked with seed libraries, arts institutions, community organizations, farmers markets, and with individual gardeners and farmers to record audio Seed Stories, make seed art, distribute seed saving information, and hold space for public seed exchanges.
