Seed Stories
Since our founding in 2011, Seed Stories have guided our work across community engagement, story recording, broadcasting, exhibitions, and workshops. During each of these creative moments we find ourselves asking a most radical question:
What stories will your seeds share?
Seed Stories guide us into this work through animating the voices of seeds and people, lands and cultures, pasts and futures - all who honor seeds, saving, and sharing to nourish and nurture life. We know that everyone has a story to share and every seed stories our world in the most profound way. These can be spoken, written, sculpted, painted, performed, enacted, planted, grown, and even eaten. They come in all shapes, patterns, and sizes. But what is the most important part of Seed Stories is the part we play when we share, celebrate, and give them life.
You can find Seed Stories in all of our Projects and we welcome invitations to bring Seed Story Workshops into your community, events, and organizations. A full list of our workshops can be found on our About page.
