SeedBroadcast and Radical Intimacies
SeedBroadcast was recently interviewed by Oliver Vodeb of Meme Fest for The Radical Design Podcast.
“The Radical Design Podcast is a new special monthly show re-thinking the radical potentials of design. We aim to understand the world better through deep conversations with people who are doing significant things. Operating as an autonomous “pirate island” the podcast facilitates safe, collaborative, and polyphonic exchanges. A focus of our podcast is exploring how capitalism colonizes everyday life, erodes relational worlds, conditions life through extraction, marginalizes other ways of knowing and being, governs through capture of imagination, desire, and care. We are interested in design emerging in the undercurrents, kicking capitalism while its down. Our first series: Radical Intimacies features deep dialogues in non -extractive design around ideas presented in the book Radical Intimacies: Designing Non-Extractive Relationalities. The book's five sections explore dialogue, power, land, interventions, and radical praxis and so our first podcast series will focus on these themes. Oliver Vodeb is in conversation with the amazing co-contributors to the book.”
SeedBroadcast was part of the book back in 2023 and it was great to catch up with Oliver and talk about our work and why seeds are the radical, caring, and transformative wisdom we need now more than ever.
